da bet7: Leeds United haven’t been good lately, but there are some players who haven’t been at the races pretty much all season despite their current run of two wins in 11 games.
da blaze casino: Indeed, although the Whites are second in the Championship, there have been a handful of players who haven’t reached the heights that are expected of them.
The likes of Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez aren’t looking like threatening their goal tallies from last season – they netted 22 goals between them but this term they have just seven goals combined. However, perhaps the worst offender is one of Leeds’ summer signings
What’s been said then?
Keith Andrews was asked on Sky Sports about Liam Cooper’s miss in the second half and whether or not it should have resulted in a goal. While the former midfielder did answer that question, he went on a tirade about some of Leeds’ underperforming players.

“It absolutely should, but it’s not just him, set pieces need to be better, and I think the delivery at times was really poor,” Andrews said (Sky Sports Main Event 8/2/20 7:55PM).
“You look at a player like Helder Costa, and he’s a shadow of what we saw from when he got promoted in a Wolverhampton Wanderers shirt, and I don’t know what’s gone on there, Klich when he got a bit further forward looked better, and they need Forshaw back.”
Bang on the money
Andrews couldn’t be more right if he tried.
We don’t know what’s wrong with Costa, but he’s had enough time to adapt to Marcelo Bielsa’s system, yet he’s still not coming up with the goods.
Three goals and one assist in 31 appearances is poor for any attacking player, but when it’s a man who’s going to set the club back £15m in the summer, then it’s seriously concerning.
The annoying thing is that we know Costa can be better than that.
As Andrews alludes to, he was brilliant at Wolves, contributing to 29 goals in two Championship seasons, a return that is much more befitting of a £15m transfer fee.
Costa needs to rediscover that sort of form, or else Leeds’ demise will continue.
