da jogodeouro: Caretaker manager Iain Dowie has rubbished claims that some of his Hull City players do not care enough about the club to help keep them in the Premier League.
da winzada777: Last weekend's 4-1 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Burnley has led to string criticism of some of the Tigers players.
However, Dowie does not accept that the level of performance at the KC Stadium was born from a lack of commitment.
Nineteenth-placed Hull now find themselves four points adrift of safety.
"I don't see people not caring, not at all," Dowie told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I understand where fans are coming from. We've got to understand this is a working-class area and the minimum people require is to see players put a shift in – and rightly so.
"Things like phone-ins can bring 1,000 different opinions, but there's a great majority of the players here that care.
"I've not seen any uncaring attitudes. I wouldn't accept it on the training pitch or on the field on a weekend.
"But we must show a caring and passionate display at Birmingham. We can talk all we want, we've got to go and put it into practice and provide a response."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
