da marjack bet:
da bwin: [ad_pod ]Per a report from Sky Sports News, West Brom are in talks to sign Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson.
What’s the word?
Finding extra bodies at right back will be vital for West Brom going into the new season. At the moment, Allan Nyom is their only viable option in that position.
Mason Holgate has returned to Everton following the conclusion of his loan deal so it’s an area of the pitch that clearly needs work.
With that in mind, it appears as though Jenkinson could be the answer to their problems. Sky Sports News claim that Albion are in talks to sign the 27-year-old from Arsenal.
However, they could face competition from Celtic who are also interested in acquiring the right back according to the report.
Career revival on the cards?
Jenkinson’s career is one of the strangest around.
After a loan spell with Welling whilst he was still at Charlton, he was snapped up by Arsenal. But after a number of loan moves away he’s failed to ever really get his career off the ground as he reaches his prime.
The Englishman has also struggled with injury, finding himself to be an outcast. Last term he only played in three Premier League matches.
However, by moving to West Brom and linking up again with Slaven Bilic, a manager he played under at West Ham, it could be hugely beneficial for all parties.

You sense that all Jenkinson needs is a run of games and if he signs he should be given that considering the lack of depth at right back in the Baggies’ squad.
Arguably his best season to date came when he played 32 times during his loan spell with the Hammers in 2014/15, a tally which represents his largest number of appearances in a single campaign to date.
His good form at that point in his career was backed up by an Arsenal great in Lee Dixon too.
As a result, a run of matches at a new club and in the Championship could be game-changing.
Jenkinson may not be the most exciting signing but he knows how to get the job done at both ends of the pitch and would be a shrewd signing as the club look to rebuild.
The Arsenal man and Bilic are already familiar with each other so it should be an easy adaptation for Jenkinson to make if he does switch north London for the Midlands.
