The Hammers produced a shock result at Stamford Bridge, running out 1-0 winners against Frank Lampard’s side thanks to Aaron Cresswell’s sweet second-half strike.
The win is the first that Manuel Pellegrini’s side have recorded since September – when they beat Manchester United – and brought to an end a run of three successive defeats.
